Data Sovereignty & On-Premises Deployments
Maxta's MaxDeploy and on-premises MaxtaOS deployments are designed for complete data sovereignty. Customer production data, AI model inputs and outputs, and proprietary operational data processed on your private infrastructure are never transmitted to Maxta or any third party unless you explicitly enable remote monitoring features.
Where remote health monitoring is enabled, we collect only anonymous system metrics described in Section 2.2 above. You retain full ownership and control of all customer data, AI training data, inference inputs and outputs, and all other data processed within your environment.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, to maintain our contractual relationship with you, and to comply with our legal obligations:
- Account and contract data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and up to 7 years thereafter, in accordance with applicable accounting and legal requirements.
- Website log data: up to 12 months.
- Marketing data: until you opt out, or 3 years from last interaction, whichever is earlier.
- System telemetry from deployments: up to 24 months in aggregate, anonymized form.
When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data disposal procedures.
International Data Transfers
Maxta is headquartered in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, your personal information may be transferred to the U.S. or other countries. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and equivalent mechanisms where applicable, to ensure an adequate level of protection for such transfers.
